Independent Digital Media (IDM) has announced the launch of Younger You magazine for September and The Knot magazine for October. The magazines are extensions of IDM’s popular wedding website TheKnot.com.au and anti-ageing website YoungerYou.com.au, and will be distributed nationally. The Knot magazine will have a print run of 60,000, and Younger You magazine will have a print run of 30,000.
The magazines are the newest additions to IDM’s stable of premium women’s lifestyle brands, which also includes beauty website PRIMPED.com.au.
Marina Go, (pic, right) Independent Digital Media’s Publisher, says the magazines are an exciting step in building on the strength of IDM’s women’s lifestyle portfolio. “Women engage with media in multiple ways, and The Knot magazine and Younger You magazine will extend the reach of these brands to communicate with audiences both online and offline,” says Go.
“We have a solid base of advertising clients from our portfolio of women’s lifestyle websites, and will be working closely with them for each of the magazines,” added Go.
“Our plan is to engage with our communities across all media, with digital at the centre,” Go continues. “This next initiative will build on the successful online launches of TheKnot.com.au and YoungerYou.com.au to extend the brands into the magazine landscape.”
The Knot magazine and TheKnot.com.au are edited by Alicia Richardson, former Editor of whatswhat.com.au, while Younger You magazine and YoungerYou.com.au are edited by Jenni Gilbert, former Editor-in-Chief of New Idea and launch editor of Good Medicine.
